How to find your way to Lake Caldonazzo

Hotel Micamada is situated at Lake Caldonazzo, a paradise for relaxation and water sports.

Calceranica al Lago (500 metres above sea level / 1,200 inhabitants) is a small but beautiful tourist destination. It is situated at the shores of the warmest (+27°C) and cleanest lake in the Trentino region and is only 18 km from the City of Trento and about 110 km from Venice. Calceranica al Lago is the ideal starting point for walking or cycling tours, excursions by mountain bike, cultural visits and motor bike tours up to the Dolomite mountain passes.

Wherever you go, you will enjoy great panoramic views. Surfing, sailing, horse riding, tennis, swimming, golfing, Wellness centres, thermal pools, markets, theme evenings, dancing and much more are on offer to make your holiday truly special.

By car

Take the A22 Brenner-Modena motorway, exit at TRENTO NORD and take the dual-carriageway SS47 in the direction of PADOVA/VALSUGANA.

After you pass the town of Pergine, turn RIGHT in the direction of Caldonazzo / Calceranica al Lago. Drive along the lake until you come to Calceranica al Lago, go straight through the roundabout and after 100 metres you will reach a garage, where you need to turn left in the direction of the lake

(Via al lago). Just before you come to the railway, turn LEFT.

After about 20 metres, you have reached your destination: Hotel Micamada. You can park your car right behind the hotel.

By train

Take the railway Brenner-Bologna until you come to Trento. From here, take the Valsugana railway to Calceranica al Lago (15 km). Our hotel is near the railway station.

The last train will arrive at 10.30 p.m. This means that there is no traffic noise during the night!

Tip: a return journey to Venice by train costs only EURO 18.
